The mission of The Uwharrie Players shall be to promote interest in theatre arts, including drama, dance, music, theatrical crafts and other theatre-related activities, and to encourage active involvement by members of the community in these arts. Recognizing the cultural needs of the community, it is the further mission of the organization to provide professional quality entertainment within easy reach of area citizens.
